Graduating During a Pandemic

Welp, I've officially completed 12 years of schooling and got a diploma to prove it!

My high school graduation was definitely not what I had in mind!
Technically, I had two graduations, the first one I went to pick up my diploma from the school wearing my cap and gown, as well as a face mask, and staying 6 feet apart from all my classmates. The other I watched all the long speeches and awards in the comfort of my corona free home. 👍

Totally NOT what I had imagined graduation would be like!

I'm not complaining though, I appreciate everyone who is trying to make this a special thing, considering the circumstance. I just would not have imagined in a million years this would be my graduation or even senior year. But hey, at least I made it!

Now I am officially a college student. Woo-hoo!

Crazy how fast time flies by! I remember starting off my freshman year thinking I was never going to finish. Lots of change happens in high school, and to a teenager, sometimes that feels like the end of the world!

I would definitely classify high school graduation as bittersweet. It's sad leaving old friends and saying goodbye, but also you're so ready to experience independence and freedom as a young adult!

Anyway, my high school graduation was totally different from what I had imagined, yet, still very memorable in it's own way!
